Field Day 2002

We moved our Field Day operations to the Louisburg, NC Elementary School this year.  This move was based on much discussion and a hope that we could stir more interest in the local community concerning ham radio. We also earned more points by being in a public location.

With ever present building restrictions and covenants closing in on the ham operator’s need for antennas.  It is important that we make ourselves known so that when we ask for support or variances, we do not have to present our “credentials” just to let everyone know what we offer.
