Become a Amateur Radio Operator!

Becoming a Amateur Radio Operator is easier than it was even a few years ago.  You need to demonstrate a knowledge of technical knowledge, but the there are numerous books available, and the test questions and answers are available.  We call it the question pool, it is a large database of questions, but combined theory and study of the question pool will result in passing of the Technician Class license.

Continued study of theory and demonstration of basic Morse Code ability will take you to the next operator level, which is known as General Class.  The final stage is Extra Class, where you will need to know extensive theory and have an advanced understanding of electronics.

If you interested, please contact us for more information or visit the ARRL.

Study books can be bought in numerous places, one of the best for beginners is “Now You’re Talking”. It combines basic theory and the question pool for the Technician class license.  Click here to purchase this book at Amazon... (if the link fails, please go to Amazon.com and search for “Now You’re Talking”.
